Q. How much is it to rent a margarita machine from the
Margarita Man?
A. Our prices vary throughout the year upon availability
and seasonal demand. Our average price is $205. Your
price includes delivery and pickup in our free delivery
area, (additional charge for delivery out of the free
delivery area) your first mix, 50 cups, straws and a salt-
rimmer with salt.
Q. Are the machines easy to use?
A. Yes indeed. We mix your first batch for you and show
you how to use the machine. We leave clear printed
instructions. NO ICE IS NEEDED.
Q. How many drinks does one mix yield?
A. One mix makes about 70 eight-ounce drinks. Our
experience shows that usually half or more guests drink
the frozen drinks even if offered a choice. We
recommend one mix for every 25 frozen beverage
drinkers. One machine will deliver frozen drinks for up
to 60 frozen beverage drinkers. If more guests are
expected, a second machine is strongly recommended
otherwise too much demand is put on the one machine
and it cannot perform properly. (Additional machines
discounted.) Extra mixes are $30.
Q. How long does the first batch take?
A. Indoors about 30 minutes, outside on warm days
about 45 minutes. There is no waiting between batches
because you add to the reservoir as you go, preferably
before machine's mix-low light comes on.
Q. Who provides the liquor and how much is needed?
A. The customer provides all liquor. One to three liters
per mix depending on desired strength. We recommend
two liters.
Q. How far in advance should I reserve my machine?
A. We recommend 6 weeks for the busy spring and
summer seasons and traditional party dates. Availability
is unpredictable, give us a call.
Q. Would it be appropriate to serve my guests frozen
drinks during the colder months of the year?
A. Yes indeed. I'm sure you don't serve your guests
Warm Beer or Warm Soda.
